Proscuitto White Pizza


The other day I was helping a girlfriend of mine with her website and social media. We got busy working away before I knew it, it was 1 in the afternoon. My daughter peeked her head in and asked if I was going to make lunch. She would have thrown something together for herself, but she knew I had not had a thing to eat and neither had my guest. With nothing prepped, I knew exactly what I would make. The pizza crusts from Venice bakery are perfect for this exact scenario. I opened my fridge and took inventory. Fresh Proscuitto from the butcher, cheese, herbs, veggies…. So I threw together what I call Proscuitto White Pizza. It took me less than 5 minutes to prepare this dish, and 12 minutes to bake. Did I mention it was so yummy? If you like white pizza, this one is for you!

 Gluten-Free Proscuitto White Pizza

1 Venice bakery gluten-free pizza crust
4 ounces room temperature Cream Cheese
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon fresh minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ cup parmesan cheese
1 ½ cups fresh grated mozzarella
1 chopped tomato
¼ cup fresh chopped basil
Sliced Proscuitto



Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Melt your butter in a saucepan over medium heat and add minced garlic. Stirring constantly until garlic is fragrant. About 1 minute.
Mix together Cream cheese, butter and garlic mixture, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Spread the mixture on top of your pizza crust.
Add shredded mozzarella and Parmesan.
Add your Proscuitto slices. You can add a little or a lot, your choice.
Sprinkle your chopped tomato and fresh basil.
Place in the oven and bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes.
Serve!
